EVERGREEN  PRODUCTIONS

THE STORY

I have a feeling that I probably should start this with a clever, well placed quote of some kind. A quote that shows my emotional depth and sharp intellect. However, the only thing that comes to mind is "Then the bird said,  "nevermore" ", from "The Raven" by  Edgar Allan Poe. Which really doesn't seem suitable at all. 

 

Instead I'll give you a short long story. I was born in the North, lived in the South, moved around a lot, lived in strange places, restlessly exchanging one place for another. When I was 5 I really wanted to be a gardener. Life had different plans for me though, and now I am exactly where I'm supposed to be - working in all areas of music. 

 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in jazz vocals from the Maastricht Conservatory and have studied with teachers all over the place. I write and compose a lot, and perform this music with my beloved band AMYE. I have done some backing vocals, some acting, lent my voice to a few projects and performed in some musicals. 

 

Whatever part of the story I tell you, it all comes down to one thing. The essence of me, my life and my reason for everything.
